Dr.-Ing. Mahmoud Gadelhak is an architect, researcher and lecturer in Ain Shams University, Egypt. He holds a PhD degree in Architecture with a specialization in Sustainable and Energy efficient Buildings and Design from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He worked as a researcher and lecturer in different institutes such as Ain Shams University, The American University in Cairo, The British University in Egypt, Texas A&M University, and the Technical University of Munich. His main research interests focus on: energy efficient buildings, sustainable design and optimization as well as Building information modeling (BIM) and computational design.
