It is a new international Technical -Urban program in the architectural engineering education among a German-Egyptian University partnership in the Nile-Delta region.
The project aims to enhance the urban and social quality in the Egyptian delta by using interdisciplinary urban technical solutions to solve the environmental and economic problems in urban and rurban centers.
Delta-TU activities would help you in understanding more the environmental and economic problems in Delta with different activities that it provides starting from:
- Stay TU-Berlin
Develop Research Studies and PhD Dissertations, Participate in Design Studios & Conducting New Teaching Methods as students work groups were contacted to follow up on the project stages, starting with society communication and knowing their requirements regarding the project site till the final project.
- Delta-TU provides study trips
Study trips Inside Egypt and to Germany, Students attended workshops, a series of focused presentations, visit different labs and have city tours.
- 1st Delta Symposium
The Delta-Symposium (DS), Technical-Urban and Cities, is an event brings together scholars from various disciplines who share a strong commitment to Build Environment research in Nile Delta region, The Delta-Symposium encourages topical research among its members; initiates multidisciplinary discussion through roundtables and seminars
- 1st. German Architecture Day in Egypt
1st German Architecture day in Egypt (ARCH-DE) is the first series congress day on Architecture and Urban Planning topics, brings together the German and Egyptian Architects/Planners from various disciplines to share new knowledge to the Architecture, Urban Practice, and Education in Egypt AUPE.
- Design-Build Workshop (BENAA)
It is workshops/year between students and academics from TU-Berlin, Mansoura University, and Co beneficiary University in Delta. The aim is to establish a ’Design-Build’ LAB for experiments: integration the ‘Design-build’ as a learning-by-doing method into teaching of the Egyptian university with support of TU-Berlin, Providing the space and equipment required for interactive teaching, presentation, seminars, workshops, and experiments will be highly integrated in the teaching methods.
- Design-Build Lab & Equipment
Establishing a “Design-Build” infrastructure for students and graduates experiments, under the activity (3.2) developing a new LAB/workshop for the 3D ‘Design-build models will increase the potentials of students and graduated to integration develop 1:1 model method into the learning methods at Mansoura university in relevance to the education progress at TU-Berlin.
